October 15, 2010
Dear Parents,
I know that its only October, but May will be here before we know it! The CHS Senior Class is planning Project Graduation again this year. Project Graduation is a drug- and alcohol-free event offering all graduating seniors a final night of prizes and fun after graduation. As you can imagine, a successful event requires much planning and money. The senior class currently has $123.66 in their account. Last years Project Graduation cost a little over $4,000. In other words, we have some work to do!
Seniors worked the concession stand for baseball and softball games this fall and are scheduled to work basketball games this winter. The senior concession stand dates are October 26, November 4 & 18, December 6 & 14, and January 6, 10, & 18 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Seniors are strongly encouraged to work the concession stands, and if they are unable to work themselves, to have someone volunteer in their place. Students who work the concession stand will receive extra entries for the prizes given away during Project Graduation. We will also be selling Butter Braids again November 5-19. This was a great fundraiser last year and I expect it to be again! We will also be accepting both private and corporate donations.
Im very excited about making this a great and memorable night for the Class of 2011! If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact me by email at [email protected] or by phone at 618-697-2025. I would love to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Katie Miller
